Confined Space Entry & Rescue Training with practical
Course fee is inclusive of training booklets, lunches, teas, home assignments and training certificates. We offer group package rates for more than 2 participants from the same organization.
Course Highlights:
This course is predominantly intended for supervisors and practical users who need to either manage an entry or actually enter spaces which are substantially enclosed and where there is a potentially hazardous working environment.It would also be beneficial for managers and engineers (who may have need to control work in these locations) or involved in the Permit to Work procedures related to confined spaces.
Course Highlights:
- Understand the associated hazards with confined space entry
- Be bale to carry out a risk assessment for each entry
- Understand the Safe systems of work including permits to work
- Handle emergencies pertaining to confined space
- Get thorough knowledge about the equipment required to enter a confined space
- Carry out and understand the purpose/examination/testing/maintenance of equipment
- Personal protective equipment and hygiene
- Ventilation and the avoidance of unsafe atmospheres
- Understand and assist in the rescue procedures
Additional Note: Over 60% of all confined space fatalities involve the would be rescuers.A person is considered to have entered the confined space as soon as his/her head break the plane or the entry.
